This project involved the conversion of an existing high school into an elementary school. This included the demolition of a multi-storey wing of the original building. Extensive interior renovations of the original building constructed in 1951 which consisted of 4 different additions added through the years using various construction methods. This presented structural challenges that were overcome by continuous site investigations and design changes to modify the structural requirements. Extensive abatement took place and all new finishes were provided. Extensive landscaping was included in this project including new parking area, playground and bus
